That is hillarious! I have a neigbour (89 yrs I think) that would fit that description! My property used to belong to his brother and basically I have no business living here...HAHAHA.

Good thing here in Baden at least, anyone can own roosters and chickens up to 49 birds without registering or needing permission. I can also build up to 10 square meters without a permit, as long as it doesn't have a built in fireplace. I think that comes from too many people running bootleg distilleries brewing Schnapps in the past. Zum Wohl! ;-)

I'm petty sure you can distill whatever you like these days without a fireplace.....Prost. Just bring your neighbor some baking on a regular basis. You can always win them over with food and guilt
