Hello :) I'm a new Leghorn mom. So far my flock is at 6 hens and a rooster, they've been named after the seven dwarves, Doc is the rooster. Not laying yet, only 9ish weeks old. I did lots of research and I'm hoping this breed goes well for a while then I might want to try some Loman or get what I need to breed those..... anyway the options are endless right now and I'm excited to see where my chickens take me. I'm very happy to be on BYC and cant wait to learn more. Thanks for reading have a great day :)

Congratulations on your new flock, I like your names for them.

If you haven't already, take a look at the Learning Center. There are a lot of informative articles there covering all aspects of poultry care. And if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Good luck to you, nice to have you here!

Thanks guys :) I've been stalking the info pages on here for a while and just waited untill I got my own chickens to make a account. I'm so happy to be here. Thanks again for all the warm welcomes :)
