I'm just a city raised girl who now finds herself on a small hobby farm surrounded by goats, ducks and geese. That didn't seem to be enough so while walking thru TSC one day........
Yup, I brought home 12 chicks and 6 more ducklings. No idea what some of them are...except chickens. No idea what my chicken to rooster ratio is. I'll know in another week I guess, maybe.
We'll be building a coop. My husband is using the stromberg plates to build it. Should be about 5 1/2 foot tall at the peak and 6 foot across. Will have removable (from the outside) nestboxes. He did the design and would be better to describe it.
