So excited to be part of the chicken community. This will be my first time owning chickens. Just ordered my chicks from MyPetChicken.com for delivery in June, Rhode Island Red, Buff Orpington, Barred Rock and a White Silkie. Cant wait to be a chicken lady!

You might want to check out the San Diego "meet-up" thread for great local poultry people, fun meetings etc.
Long waiting time for you to get your baby chicks, but gives you time to get well prepared. Nice choice of chicks.
