After years of begging, I was finally able to convince my husband we could raise chickens. I have no idea what change this mind. We currently have 7 hens and are adding 4 more to finish off our flock next month. We currently have 2 gold sex links, 3 marans and 2 cream leg bars. I will be adding a rooster and 3 olive or easter eggers. My sons love visiting the chickens daily and I find that I am really enjoying them, even more so than I imagined.

After googling some chicken questions and constantly seeing BYC come up I decided it was time to join. Happy to be here and excited to learn.
