Have been a fan of your site since i acquired a super friendly Rhode Island Red rooster last summer. Thought it would be time to get him a couple of playmates, so was looking out for free hens. I found some. 14 to be exact! After they all escaped the first day, I thought I was in for real trouble, but amazingly, they all came back to roost after spending only a couple of hours in their home before they fled. They are happy now being able to hang out with the goats! Just a big ole happy family. By the way, I knew chickens scratched, but had no idea they dig as well. Sneaky buggers!!
