In the Brooder
I'm a slightly eccentric animal lover who has just discovered the magical world of keeping birds. I've recently purchased my first batch of quail eggs and put them in a small incubator and I'm very excited to see if I can hatch anything! One day I hope to live somewhere I can keep some "real" chickens as my town doesn't allow any chickens in urban areas, but quails don't count as chickens (I checked) so - hooray!
Besides the dozen tiny eggs in my hatcher I also share my home with my girlfriend, our spoiled rescue mutt and a few other furry many-legged critters including fancy rats and a less fancy tarantula. When I'm not tending to all of the above
D), I'm working at a daycare and studying to become a kindergarten teacher.
