Hello from Tacoma, Washington!

Hello all,
Just wanted to do the proper and introduce myself. I'm currently living in the city where our family have raised 4 hens over the last year and added 4 turkeys and 3 more chicks to the flock this year. All the chickens are exclusively for eggs and our Turkey are for meat. We have a house with 5 kids and apart from raising poultry also really enjoy flower and vegetable gardening. I have visited the site so many times over the last year and have been so impressed by this community's efforts to help newbies like myself out.

2 Black Star hens, 1 Rhode Island Red hen, 1 Plymouth Rock hen, 3 white Leghorn hens, 1 White Midget Tom, 1 White Holland Tom, 1 Black Spanish Tom and 1 Narragansett Hen
