New to Back Yard Chickens! Also new to owning and raising chickens. I'm very excited and just a bit nervous! My coop will be finished tomorrow and then I'll be off to purchase my girls. Cant wait to post pics and enjoy all the valuable information from all who post!

I actually know where that is! My aunt & uncle lived for years in Sweetwater and have retired to Ten Mile! Small world!

I have lived here for 3yrs. I'm originally from Meadville Pennsylvania. I love the weather here and have plenty of space for a small farm. Im going to start with chickens.
