Hello from Tennessee

Hello all! I am pretty new to chickens. Ive had a few (that fall off meat chicken trucks going through the city) over the years I have rehabilitated and quarantined for an organization but I am actually keeping a few now.
I have googled all sorts of chicken info and alot of it seems to send me back to BYC. Seems like a great place for reliable information. Since I now have a permanent flock I have all sorts of questions.
Currently my city house and yard contains two dogs, six parrots, and three chinese silkie hens.
