Hey I'm Nikki! We just got a barred rock rooster, 6 Silver laced wyandottes, and two blacks ex links (sadly one died sometime today while we were at work) looking forward to raising my babies. I am a dog trainer and mother to a 16 month old and five fur babies (4 dogs and a cat) plus a dog we are fostering. Looking forward to learning!(

Black Sex Links are my favorite chickens; friendly and hardy, egg laying machines. I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds and hybrids), and they have been my best layers, consistently churning out more than 300 eggs per hen per year.
