Hello Everyone!
My name is Dakotah and I live in Texas. I am new to chickens and became a chicken mom in August of this year. I currently have about 24 chickens including Australorps, Barred Rocks and silkies.
I love sitting with my chickens in a lawn chair, giving them treats and just relaxing after my hard day at work. My two dogs always hangout with us. I have a Shih Tzu and a Great Pyrenees.
I love gardening and doing beginner building projects. I even built my large hoop coop.
I found BYC while doing research before I got my chickens, wanting to learn as much as I could. I just want to keep learning and be the best chicken mom I can be.
