Hello all! I hope starting this new thread is ok.
Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself. I've been checking out info from BYC for a couple of years now. Just never made an account before. Name is Shawn Watson as you can see lol. About to be 30 years old and i've had chickens for the past couple of years. I've been around them most of my life as well. I also have goats, cats, 1 dog etc etc lol. Only about 1/3rd of an acre to work with. One day (next year) i'll get more land. I also garden every year as well. I'm far from an expert btw. I also know a thing or 2 about geese and ducks. My parents had geese, my grand parents and aunts had chickens. I only have half a dozen hens, 1 rooster just because lol and 10 chicks at the moment. So i'm not a big scale chicken person. I just collect the eggs if you know what i mean. I have Leghorns, RIR and Barred Rocks. Pretty basic breeds really. Good for egg production. Anyways i just wanted to give a small intro. Thank you BYC and if i do happen to have any questions i'll sure ask!
Thank you,
Shawn Watson
