Hello from the Central Valley, CA

Hi, I've kept a few chickens in my backyard for many years now, thoroughly enjoying my "chicken time" (vegging out watching and listening to them as they range around me) and their delicious eggs. Currently I have 3 hens, one Golden Nugget, and two Americaunas. The latter two have been roosting in their pen's shade tree and it's time to clip their wings! Nights have been getting down to 25 F for 5 days straight. Their names are Nugget, Druid, and Hawk. I'm devoted to keeping them safe and healthy and happy. That's why I'm here! Plus it's a blast getting to talk chickens with folks who love 'em as much as I do!
