Hello 
I'm here to learn for a few months before we get started. I like to learn what I can BEFORE starting an adventure, and usually I hang out in forums and learn from the questions of other people.
We will be starting with ducks, but because of vacations and existing crazy scheduling, we probably won't be able to get our first ducklings until July. I've been looking at so many breeds and I love lots of them, so I may end up with two of a whole bunch of breeds. We aren't planning on harvesting them for meat though we do use quite a few eggs so that will be important. I have enough room to have as many as I want, and a big farm pond for them to swim on during the day. I'll have to do some work in the barn to get their stall critter-proof, but I have a plan and lots of time to get it done.
