Hi, I'm Bubba, from the booming metropolis of Micro NC. (southeast of RALEIGH)

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I just got my first chickens and guineas about 7 weeks ago.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

Right now I have 9 guineas and 3 chickens. I'm currently working on a second coop in order to get a few more chickens.
Don't want them to be overcrowded!

(3) What breeds do you have?

I have 7 pearl gray and 2 white guineas. And I have 3 adorable white silky chicks

Google search!


(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

I have a very wide range of hobbies. I enjoy power-lifting, reading comic books, and playing music!

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I have a lovely wife, Kim Sue. I have a teenage son, Alex. And two dogs, (but don't tell them that) Leo and Sara Jane.
I work in a Chemistry Lab in RTP.

Hi, Bubba.

1. I'm new now after having chickens way back when I was a kid.
2. Right now I have eleven but some are getting processed this weekend. I will be getting in a dozen chicks for eggs plus another 13 meat birds in August.
3. Barred rock, Easter egger, silver leghorn, RIR (or some derivative).
4. Like you, doing a google search. I was looking for chicken coops.
5. Hobbies: hunting, fishing, my dogs, reading, being outdoors.
6. I'm a school guidance counselor, have two labrador retrievers.
