Hello from the Hudson Valley

Hello! We have a small flock of egg layers and love the Swedish Flower breed! We live in the Hudson Valley in NY. We are working on establishing our flock from reputable breeders and are looking at getting into AC's & SH's for breeding as well!

I am up in Liberty and have been waiting for the snow to go to be able to get started outside. We are new to this fine feathered bunch

will you be hatching your own, getting day olds, pullets, starteds?

hatching in my classroom and brooding then giving chicks to coworker who has experience in this. Then my family and I will do it for ourselves. I really want to build first and make it exactly what we want so as not to chage it around later---That's why all these posters are helping me sort it all out. I am impatient, but trying to be practical.
