I love them all but I have found that my blacks are more skittish than my reds, they will all come up to me and start peeping but if I put my hand in to pick them up then they are the first to back off, maybe they will warm up to me when they get a little older. One of the blacks is named Mayday because if she is being held all she does is peep
and they are all so different in size I have 1 red that is like the runt of the litter (first timer with chickens so I don't even know if they have runts) she is tiny in comparison to the others. she is apprehensive about everything and always the last out of the coop in the morning, and when roosting if she sees me she will peep until I help her down, so I have to walk away so she can find the courage to do it herself
Besides Folgers in my cup they are the best part of waking up!
