My wife and I were at tractor supply the other day and she seen the baby chicks....well, we all know what happens next.
Name is Ron, and I have been lurking here for about a week getting answers to questions. Thanks to all of you that have answered the questions I never formally asked.
I raised chickens when I was younger, but they were free range, and didn't even have a coop. They roosted and laid their eggs in the small barn that we had. That was 30 years ago. Now I am in city limits and while I have a large lot, however, the city seems to frown on people letting chickens roam.
So, because of my wifes new found love, here I am. I am sure that there will be tons of questions as time goes on.
Here is a couple of pics of the construction of the coop and run they will be staying in.
