Hello from the Midwest

This will be my first time raising chickens and I'm really looking forward to it. My husband and I are starting with a small flock of 2 Barred Rock, 2 Speckled Sussex and 1 Dominique. He's making plans to build the coop right now. The chicks should arrive next week.

I work in graphic design and in my free time I like to do photography, garden, run, travel, eat chocolate and fish. I'm looking forward to being a part of this forum. I've learned so much just from reading the posts here.
