Greetings from College Station, Texas. We've got free-range chickens, and neighborhood dogs are the biggest problem. We have a 4-foot fence around our backyard, which the chickens can easily get through or over. But it serves to discourage the dogs. Now and then and chicken disappears, and it's more likely due to a dog rather than a raccoon or hawk.
