Hello everyone

I'm in London, UK and have 2 adult Bantams (Banevelder and Buff Orpington) at my allotment which I've had since Sept 2020. They hatched some eggs and I now also have 5 10.5 week old chicks, 2 Crested Cream Legbar (1 cockerel, 1 pullet) and 3 Orpingtons (I think one Black, one Splash and one Blue but not sure - I think 2 pullets and one I am not sure on, I may post about that one!).

I did have 3 other Bantams which sadly died, a Speckledy, an Auraucana and a Silkie. The newly hatched chicks are Large Fowl and already bigger.

I've lurked and searched through threads for a while and finally decided to sign up.

The strange thing with the broody mamas, is that I thought the Buff Orpington would be the mama. she goes broody almost monthly, but as soon as the eggs were under the Barnevelder who nerver does joined her so they both sat on the eggs for the 21 days...and then the Buff started pecking at the chicks so I had to seperate her and little bantam Barnevelder raised them all! The Orpingtons looks twice her size now!
