I am New I have had Chickens 1 Month

6, 3 grown layers, 3 6 week old Pullets

RIR's, Ameraucana, Black Austral, Black Sex Link, Barred Rock Pulley, & 1 Roo

Ride Horses, Read, Outdoor Projects

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 Cats, 2 Dogs, 1 is a Rescue and so is the other but he's been trained as my Sevice Dog.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. You have a very good and thorough introduction. Thank you for your years of service to our country. You have a nice mix of breeds. Black Sex Links are my personal favorites as they are friendly and hardy, egg laying machines. I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds and hybrids), and they have been my best layers, consistently churning out more than 300 eggs per hen per year. You should get loads of large, brown eggs from that girl. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
