We are a small family farm full of first times. My husband has went over board in the couple of months in the idea of saving money, we would raise food. We started out with 2 chickens that my son wanted. Silkie mixes. Can't eat them..
We now have a group of 9 chickens that are all different breeds for pets. And recently bought 23 RIR chicks.. not for pets. We have 8 Pharaoh quail and 4 Georgia giants. They aren't pets either. And 2 Rex rabbits.. that are pets.. but the offspring wont be as lucky.
I am 21 years old. My husband is 25. And our son is 5. We have been happily married for 6 years. And we are first timers at this.. although as you can tell we go all out in everything we do.
