guess i couldve done this first.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
this june will be 2 years!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
i have 6right now, started with 14 a year ago but lost 7 babies to a fox attack

(3) What breeds do you have?
have Rhode island reds right now and 10 ISO browns next month

(4) What are your favourite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
they have the best personalities, love the fresh eggs, always a good way to cheer ya up after a crappy day

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
i grew up in dirt track racing, adventuring fishing lakes, painting, gardening, hunting, tanning hides, etc waaaayy too many lol

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
born and raised country, small town in Ontario, once i got my first chickens i have been learning everything i can of living off the land and using natural medicine for my girls and my family!

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
followed some forums over the past year and just realized BYC allowed me to register, always learning lots about chickens and grateful for this community !
