[Our mixed brood]

Hi,
My name is Cindy and my husband, Matt, decided it would be a great idea to raise a few chickens so we bought six chicks in February and even I have fallen in love with them. We all have a favorite bird and my 2 kids ages 8 and 12 have love holding their babies! I can't believe how different their personalities are. We did end up with one rooster and so far so good. I am very excited to be on this site and learn more about our little mixed brood!

i am new to chickens as well...i started with 6 chickens and im pretty sure 4 are roosters!....i want as least 5 or 6 chickens
to keep each other warm in the winter! any suggestions on this raising em
