(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 10 chickens and 4 ducks

2 rir, 5 black Australops, 3 buff orpingtons, 2 khaki Campbell ducks, 2 mallards

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Being outdoors, hunting, fishing, spending time with my kids.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a girlfriend, a 6 year old boy and a 5 month old boy, all live here. I have 6 hunting dogs, 3 outside dogs and a beagle that lives inside. We also have a rabbit and a cat indoors. I work for the railroad and the gf is a stay at home mom.
Glad to be here and figuring out these chickens one step at a time

Welcome to BYC! Where do you live? They have a thread for Virginia here. I am down in the southwest corner of the state near Gretna. My guineas are shipped today, and i am excited to be getting them soon. I am from a family of RR workers, my Dad worked.on the D&H and my grandad and brother worked rr too.

Hope all your dogs don't develop a craving for chicken. It's usually best if dog and chicken next meet. You never hear of a chicken killing a dog.
