Hello from Vancouver, WA

I'm Karyn and I'm new to this whole chicken thing but I have lots of friends in the area with chickens and they are the ones who got me started with this thing. We have 6 chickens, they are 10 and 11 weeks old. I have two french black copper marans, one male, one female, and they are both about 11 weeks old. The others are all 10 week old females, and they are a speckled sussex (currently sick and I suspect it may be Marek's), a california white, a gold laced wyandotte, and an ameraucana. I found out about BYC through my friends who are already chicken owners. My other hobbies are reading and photography. I'm married to a wonderful guy, our 7th anniversary is in Sept. I am a stay at home mom to two little boys, they are 1 and 3. Besides the chickens, we have 2 cats.
