Good day to all and thank you for having me at BYC! My husband and I had chickens years ago and I recently decided to get more!
To date, I have 2 buff Brahmas, 2 bantam Cochins and 2 buff Orpingtons - along with two dogs, two cats, etc. - I think I must have an ark mentality with regard to gathering pairs!
I came upon BYC in my search for information on chickens and you all have such a great site and are such a terriffic information resource, I just had to join!!
Although I get up before the proverbial chickens in the mornings to commute to my job, I am happiest at home with my husband and animals, gardening and doing things around our log home and property. I also love to read, research things of interest/try new things (cheesemaking being the current), and cook - my specialty being homemade breads.
