Hello from WA

Hey I am new here. I am pretty excited about this, and new to chickens. I grew up raising Ducks so Chickens are new to me but I am so excited! We are ALMOST done building our coop. We have 4 chicks in a brooder right now.
We live in Western WA actually on an Island. My Husband is Militarry and I am former Military. Other than chickens we are very much into working and volunteering in animal Rescue. We foster dogs, and just love working around the yard and on our little piece of land that we love.
