Hello from Western Maryland-- Very new to chickens

Hi! I bought a dozen chicks at TSC on a whim after Easter. My hubby built me a brooder and we bought all our supplies. The whole family is enjoying watching the babies grow. How entertaining they are!!

We also have a daughter and son (12,10), a Newfoundland (who does not bother the chickens) and two cats who are too interested in them!

Hi from MD's Eastern Shore (Southern tip of Dorchester Co.).

We raise Splash Silkies (with a Roo who isn't interested in mating) and Bantam Cochins in Splash & Mille Fleur, Crested White Ducks & Butterscotch Call ducks. Please look at our website. We also have a 27 year old horse (AQHA mare), 2 dogs (white pit bull & german shepherd) and 1 black cat. Our animals are all very sweet. I enjoy my birds, dogs, kitty, riding my horse, art, photography, beach combing, food, etc.... sorry for talking your ear off. We just got Married last Sept. We both like to laugh & be silly. Welcome to our (BYC) strange world!
