(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? yes
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? i have 6 chicks born on 2/14/23 still in my basement
(3) What breeds do you have? i am hoping yinz can tell me, thats one reason i join this group. they were labeled as California Whites
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? watching my kids interact with the Chicks, and the anticipation of eggs from a KNOWN source.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gaming, Scouts BSA Assistant Scoutmaster.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. i have 4 school aged kids, one of which wanted chickens since she was 2 years old. i am a Healthcare professional.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
i have creeped the boards for about 6 months now gaining knowledge to take care of the new chicks
