Hello from blustery cold mid-Wisconsin! We've had our fake spring and now we're cold and windy again. Glad we have the heat plates for the girls! We have 3 black australorps and 30 black jersey giants in our garage. The australorps are roughly coming up on 4 weeks and I believe the jerseys are coming up on 3. They're definitely more comfortable now, eating and drinking like crazy! Can't wait for my 3 australorps to grow a bit more so I can tell them apart and give them names. A couple more (different "breed") will be added as soon as a new shipment of hatchlings come in. This is our first experience with chickens and we couldnt be more excited and overwhelmed all at the same time!
