Hello from Woodburn IN!

Currently living in "Amish Woodburn" and planning to move to the town. The town chief of police assures me I can keep chickens as long as Im not in a subdivision and that they are ok in the general town. Contacted a town council member who said same but added that they generally follow the Allen County guidelines. I can't find anything on chickens there. Anybody with more info? I have six girls - 2 bantams, 2 barred rock, 2 buff orpingtons and they are SO sweet and are laying great! I dont want to leave them behind. (I WON'T leave them behind!) Thanks for any info
