Thanks everyone! I grew up on a small farm with chickens, then moved to the city, was in the military, etc. and only recently got back to having birds of my own. Favorite breeds are black australorps, barred rock, and of course various orpingtons! This time around we are having a go with Jersey giants. They should be here in a few days!

For now, busy with some little blue Asians we got at Tractor Supply. It's fun to have chickens again!

Orpingtons are my favorite breed along with australorps! I just love everything about them! Barred rocks are great as well. Good luck with the jersey giants. I've never raised them but I hear all the time they are wonderful chickens! I bet you are super egg-cited for their arrival!
