Hello everyone. I've been prowling these pages for a good long time and finally decided its time I joined up. I've had a small flock of chickens at home here in a rural area of NJ off and on for about the last 4-5 years and love reading all of the GREAT information that I find on this site. I presently have 34 three week old chicks I ordered from Privett Hatchery. These include 12 Black Cochin Frizzles, 12 Black Silkies, and 10 (ordered 12, 2 passed away) Black Tailed White Japanese. (I know, I know everybody will want pics lol
and I'll try to get some posted when i find some time) I bought these with the intention of experimenting a bit and cross breeding my Frizzles to get some "Sizzles" and possibly some ?Jazzles? LOL. Right now I'm brooding them in a kiddie pool setup in my basement. Hopefully I'll be able to start getting on here and start posting some topics and maybe even helping out others who have questions that I've already learned the answers to!
