I am just joining, my husband surprised me with 10 little baby chickens a while back and I am getting ready to move them out into a coop.

Just starting my journey and am joining to find some support and ask a few questions along the way. Here soon, we are going to be building a new coop, because I hate the one we have now. It was already here when we bought the house, and I am just not a fan of their set up. Anyways, I hope this is the start of something wonderful!

It started out with two rhode island reds from the farm store about 6 weeks ago (they were two weeks old when we bought them) and then last week a box from a hatchery came filled with unknown birds. It was one of their combo packs that can have pretty much anything in it.

We had talked about getting chickens before, but I had finally decided to just wait until spring. Welll no more waiting I guess!
