(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
* I am not new to chickens. I got my first chicken when I was 12 years old. It was a lemon blue old English Bantam. I purchased her with money I made working on the summer at dog kennels. She was the friendliest hen I have ever owned. I even took her to school one day for show n' tell. We also had laying hens, roosters, turkeys and guinea hens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Right now I have 14 laying hens and I am picking up some Mille Fleur D'uccle chicks this weekend.
(3) What breeds do you have?
*Rhode island red, American, California white, one white silky Bantam, and a couple mixed breeds. I am picking up some Mille Fleur D'uccle chicks this weekend.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
*I am a house remodeler and construction worker, that I would consider a hobby and a job.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
* I am married to a great guy. We have a beautiful daughter. My husband and I buy and flip houses and do construction work. We have an amazing dog, Lady. She is an American BullDane (American Bulldog great Dane mix) she is 2 years old. We also have an African spurred tortoise named tortellini.
