I was think of going with the Easter layers. I have a very large property but, I don’t want to free range we live in an area with a lot predators. I have a large coop already from the previous owners. I was also going to pick up a 10 x 20 walk in run. This way if later I get jersey chickens they will have plenty of room. A friend told me they should be in a small coop so they lay more eggs. There is a lot of contradictory information out there and it gets confusing. I feel very responsible for their well being and want to do my best. Thanks for the reading material. I am going to review it now.
