Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! I too love the polish I have 2 adult groups and incubate and hatch their eggs. Do you have polish now? A unique breed that are super to keep and lots of fun. Be sure to ask all the questions you need to everyone here to help and very friendly.

Enjoy BYC and all the chicken chat :frow

Very glad you joined us!!! The BYC community is one of the best ever. If you have any questions, someone on here is always willing to answer. If you have any questions about breeds or anything, don't hesitate to let me know and I'll do my best to help you! I have a silkie right now and she is my favorite, very friendly and cuddly. I will be getting some new breeds next month, including a polish bantam.

The best advice I have is to handle the chicks very much so they grow up to be extra friendly and cuddly. I'm the same with you- I have my chickens for pets and eggs.

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

I raise my chickens for pets and eggs as well. I could never eat my flock! I love them too much!

I would highly recommend polish and silkie chickens. They are so affectionate and pretty.

Wow...thanks everyone! Yes I have some Silkies but no Polish yt...I'm working on it...it's about impossible to find anything and if they do have it there really not willing to get rid of them but I'm still on the hunt but yes I definitely love my silkie chicks they are the most loving little chicks I've ever had I have one blue silky that everytime he sees me he tap dances and then he will come in fly up in my hands and sit on my shoulder the whole time I do yard work I treated him like a little baby though ever since he was hatched he's about two years old now and oh I just love him dearly I'm so excited I join this site I've been on others but just definitely not as friendly as you guys thanks so much for the warm welcome
