We just acquired three 4 month old hens. They are very comical to watch! We are still trying to get them use to us!

Hi and a warm welcome to BYC and congrats at getting your hens. Maybe try hand feeding them with treats, spending time with them and talking to them a lot - it may take time and some may simply not want to petted, others you will find, may be happy to be petted.
