hey guys im a total newbie to all of this and i have found this page very help full so far

now maybe u guys can help me with this one i bought another 2 chickens to my flock the other day
now i know the breed of the one but im not sure what the other one was the guy i bought it from mentioned 2 names but dont remember what this one was its either a cochin ore brahma were is the difference its black and its got feathers on its legs maybe u guys can help id be very great full

Hi and from Ohio. So glad to have you aboard. Cochins have feathers on their legs and feet. Brahmas are not as heavily feathered but do have some feathers on the legs.

If the chicken is all black and roundish it is probably a cochin. Click on my little picture at the bottom~there are a couple of adult black bantam cochins in there.
