Hello,my name is Chris,just found this today and it looks like there are a lot of nice people on here
I'm originally from Mannheim, Germany but have been here a long time.
My Dad grew up on a farm so I guess it's in my blood and am trying to get as many animals as my hubby will let me get away with
I keep telling him "we have 28 acres,what else do you do with that?"

I visited Germany for 3 weeks at the end of HS; I do hope to return someday, it was one of the best times of my life. Rothenberg was incredible!

Hello Chris and Welcome!

I am in Ohio too! Strasburg Ohio, which is near the Dover, New Philadelphia area. My husband just visited Germany about two years ago because he had work there. Oh the pics he took were incredible! He was in Tubingen.

Anyhow, this is the place if you like chickens! I love them. They're more pets than livestock to me. A wonderful hobby.

My Dad is from a small village called Gissigheim,my uncle still has a farm there. I love that area,mostly farms!
And Tuebingen....one of my german friends lives there!
Ok,anybody in Mannheim?
I spent some time in Wales,Uk too,Aberystwyth,loved it there too.
Yes I love my duckies and chickens,one of the reasons I wanted orps is because they are supposed to be so friendy(posted about my eggs I just bought in the inc/hatch forum)
