My name is Ashley and I live in Texas.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My husband and I are fairly new. We got our first 3 hens in 2021.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Right now we have 10 chickens and about 60 quail.
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have 2 Black Australorps, 2 Delaware Whites, 2 Plymouth Barred Rocks, and 4 Easter Eggers.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Everything. I love animals. I love watching the chickens do funny stuff or just do anything.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy photography. I especially love taking photos of my chickens.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We also have 2 cats and are watching my sister in laws dog for a couple months.
