Greetings from Kentucky! My family first got into chickens back in 2018, and I'm glad we did. I didn't think much of chickens at first, but to my surprise they all have quite the personalities. It's very entertaining to watch them go about their day, and to have fresh eggs to boot. We currently have 48 chickens, 10 of which are only chicks, and 9 (maybe 8) are roosters (which we probably won't be keeping all of them). Other than the chickens, we have 10 goats, 7 sheep, 5 dogs, 7 cats, and 3 birds. As you can imagine, it can get pretty chaotic around here. We aren't chicken experts by any means, hence me signing up for BYC, so I hope to learn from fellow chicken lovers!
