I have two chickens and i need help on how to raise them.

Also i wanted to know if i can shower them?
What kind of food can i give them and were can I buy it?
 
I have never heard of anyone showering them... But I know some people bath them. Are they house chickens? How old?


Age makes a difference on what you feed them. You can get chicken feed at a feed mill, farm store. or a store like tractor supply company.


And welcome to BYC

They eat grains, mainly, will eat meat and grass of the grass is young and tender.


I forgot to add they love bird seed like for wild birds too, I give them that for a treat. sunflower, peanuts, corn, millet etc

As drumstick said visit the learning centre
You can feed them layers pellets.
You can get this from a co-op or farm store

You can also feed them greens and kitchen scraps etc.
You would only shower or bath a chicken if you plan on showing them
