Hi Everyone,
I am so excited to be part of the group and have experienced people to gather information and learn from. I am new to raising chickens. We bought a ranch recently and decided to let the kids learn about raising farm animals. I love that they are learning responsibility, care and compassion for animals and the benefits of growing and raising our own food for the most part. We are not raising our own animals to eat...just the eggs! But the goats do a fine job of mowing down the property!
