Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Erin and I am excited to be a part of this forum and learn from all of you. I live in NJ and have 5 hens. We used to have a rooster, but he kept attacking me and was very aggressive so we had to get rid of him. We have had the chickens for just over a year now. We have a mix of Comets and Easter Egger hens. I love the various colors of the eggs! We live in a wooded section of town and because we have lots of foxes and hawks, our hens are not free ranged; although I wish I could. It would be nice to give them a little more room to roam around. Thanks for letting me be a part of this, I look forward to being involved in BYC!
