I'm Chelsea, from Missouri!
My family used to live in Ohio where we had about 35 chickens (6 Rhode Island Reds, mine, and the rest Barred Plymouth Rocks, my mom's - all hens) on our property in the country. Neither I, nor my family, have chickens any more...but I'm still hooked. I figure that I will have chickens again some day, after I serve all of my four years or so in the Navy (going to bootcamp soon!) and get a suitable place to live.
So far, some of my favorite breeds can be found on my page, and I love looking at pictures of people's roosters etc. I've been slowly gleaning tips from this forum on everything from chicken behavior to installing electrical fencing, and love the people here! You are all such wonderful characters, individuals with a common love of quizzical and quirky feathered fowl.
Some of my other hobbies are reading, birdwatching, photography, various arts and crafts, and collecting postcards.
