Now I've just got to figure out how to navigate this sites forums a little better lol.

I have a small flock of Russian Orloffs that I plan to start breeding when they reach maturity. And a few other odd chickens for eggs and ornamental purposes. All are a little over 3 months old. I will be getting some pairs of some other breeds at the end of this month that I plan to breed next year if all goes well with them. They will be arriving as day old chicks.

My favorite chickens are the Russian orloffs. Id like to get a bigger flock of them going next year. This will be my first time breeding chickens. Though I've owned some odds and ends breed chickens for eggs for about 5 years now. I'm excited!!

I found this picture the other night while searching for the Pavlov breed (another breed Id LOVE to get into

). This picture was titled Russian tufted rooster. I searched this name but did not find anything on it. So I'm curious if any ones ever seen such a crazy looking chicken in real life? Lol

 
Yeah its a weird comb. Id like to know if that chicken really exists! Sure looks convincing! There were pictures of Marans (sp), orloffs and pavlovskaja in the same thread and all of those do exist. There were some pics of other weird chickens too. Like this one. Labeled frizzle rooster. Id like to know what this is as well lol.

 
Welcome to BYC Russianchickens. I am sorry to say, but I have never seen anything like that in my life. I am a little freaked.
